Coursera

It has been 2 months of studying at Coursera, and I don’t have any regrets yet. I think it’s a great opportunity to master a well-paid and in-demand specialty. Not only do you master a new profession, but also get to know other cultures better while communicating with your instructors and peers. Hence, here you can find friends from all over the world

Pros: a lot of trial and free courses, so you can learn the basics without even paying, a lot of courses from teachers from top US and european universities, most speakers have an expertise in their area and really know what are they talking about

Cons: remote learning really can be discouraging

Other platforms charge more for a single course than Coursera for a whole month of lessons. Besides, there are courses here where you get a curator assigned to you who helps you with organizational and/or educational problems.

However there were some technical problems when I tried to watch a lesson from my phone.

First of all, studying online is really convenient. All the lectures, tests and webinars can be interacted with no matter where you are in the world.

Secondly, the programs are extremely well-structured and the difficulty increases gradually.

Third, all the instructors are experts in their area. They may differ in their teaching style but you still can be sure that you are dealing with a professional.

And most importantly, the prices are way lower than the competitors’.

I liked that there were a lot of courses with the school chat, where you can communicate with students and even with teachers, but as for me many courses are not intense enough and were sometimes too short.

I took a free programming course here and it was really difficult to figure out the problem by myself because the assignments are assessed by an AI. Anyway there is a great community that is set up to support you in a very friendly manner and can help you in every task.

Also there was a large amount of challenging tasks which is really great to have on a free course. I believe that you can only learn by solving such tasks on your own.

The instructors on Coursera were generally good, but there were a few courses where the teaching style wasn't as engaging as I would have liked. However, they were still knowledgeable and provided valuable content, so it wasn't a major drawback.

I couldn't be happier with the instructors on Coursera's IT courses. Their passion for the subject matter was evident, and they went above and beyond to make the learning experience enjoyable. Their feedback on assignments was constructive and helped me grow as a student.

The learning community on Coursera is vibrant and diverse. I enjoyed connecting with students from different countries and learning from their experiences. The platform's discussion forums were incredibly helpful in exchanging ideas and troubleshooting.

The online support from Coursera's staff was commendable. Whenever I faced technical issues or had questions about the courses, their response time was fast and helpful. However, I felt that some courses could benefit from more engaging multimedia content.

The learning platform on Coursera is user-friendly, and I appreciated the flexibility to study at my own pace. However, I wish there were more opportunities for interaction with fellow learners, like group projects or forums.

I absolutely loved the courses on Coursera! The interactive quizzes and assignments kept me engaged, and the course materials were well-structured. I completed a machine learning course, and it opened up new career possibilities for me.

The variety of IT courses available on Coursera is impressive, and the content covered is extensive. However, in a few instances, I felt that some courses lacked practical real-world applications, focusing more on theory.

As a Filipino student, I found the instructors on Coursera's IT courses to be exceptional. They were knowledgeable, approachable, and always willing to help clarify any doubts. I appreciated how they presented complex concepts in a simplified manner, making it easier for me to grasp challenging topics.

The instructors on Coursera's IT courses are generally knowledgeable and deliver the content effectively. However, in some cases, I felt that a few of them could have been more interactive during live sessions.

The learning atmosphere on Coursera is generally positive, but I wished there were more opportunities for live interactions with instructors for immediate clarification of doubts.
